Thank you for your interest in Umique, and we are pleased that our designs/artworks adorn your space. We do our best to provide exclusive services in addition to special creations, so that your experience is not only having an umique luxurypiece, but a memorable and unique experience one.
We are designers and delivering a nice experience is our main passion. But because our offer is essentially about business(for all the parties involved), there is no avoiding the necessity of giving these transactions a uniform basic contract/agreement. This is the purpose of the rules set out below, which we agree are binding on you and us.
Our Terms and Conditions are intended to regulate the business relationship between you and us in a binding and fair manner. Therefore, the basis for all orders and contracts is always the following General Terms and Conditions that you acknowledge and confirm/accept by placing an order with us. You can view the terms and conditions here and print them out if required.
The following General Terms and Conditions shall apply exclusively to the business relationship between Umique and the clients in the version valid at the time of ordering. Any deviating terms and conditions from the customer side shall not be recognized by Umique unless Umique (in the following ‘Umique/us’) has expressly agreed to their validity in writing.
Conclusion of the contract The display of products on the website or online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer; it is a non-binding online catalogue only.
· Certiicate of Authenticity All Umique pieces/artworks have a certificate of authenticity which can be issued in your name if you wish. This means that each Umique piece is unique and has a number and signature. This feature elevates your piece from a luxury commercial item to a higher level, a distinctive and collectible piece.
· Payment Methods What payment methods does Umique offer? Here you can find all payment methods at Umique - simple and secure: Invoice* PayPal Direct debit Credit card Via Umique gift card Cash payment (Umique office/Umique partners offices) Prepayment The selection depends on the item and the invoice amount.

· International shipping You can choose your Umique piece/artwork from all over the world. But about delivery abroad (outside Germany), Umique is not responsible for any taxes or duties, and we do not offer reimbursement for these fees. If your order isreturned to us and needs to be reshipped due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, additional shipping fees and/or international taxes will apply. Obviously, we will do our best to prevent such a problem from happening.
· Shipping timeframe Pre-designed artworks in the Collection or Gallery if it doesent need to be edited or personalisation will be shipped within approximately 1-2 weeks from the date of your order/payment. Bespoke artworks are printed on custom order/demand and will be shipped within approximately 2-3 weeks from the date of your order/payment/design approval. (This time does not include the design process time).
· Shipping costs The shipping costs are as follows depending on the category:
0 euros For standard shipping for orders over 299 euros up to 31.5 kg - Package and max. 120 x 60 x 60 cm within Germany, Umique Block, Umique Gift Card or Umique Photo Album, if your order does not contain bulky goods and is not delivered by a freight forwarder.

· No granting of rights By buying a wall- or table top art, you are only acquiring material ownership of the physical piece/print. No other rights are granted or implied. Any reproduction (copying), dissemination, leasing, public exhibition or other analog or digital use is not permitted unless authorised by law. However, you can resell the print.
· Retention of the title Until full and final payment, the delivered goods/wall-arts shall remain the property of Umique.
· Third party rights By placing an order, you declare that you have the necessary rights to the works you have ordered without restriction.
· Return Policy Because all/most Umique artworks are custom-made, customized or personalized, they cannot be returned or exchanged. This is about you buying/ordering directly from our website. (Our resellers or partners may have other return policies.)
We design art works with precision and obsession. After your approval and before printing, the design of your choice will be quality checked. Our Partner/Printing Lab company Limited guarantees the quality of prints for 2 years. In addition to being insured, your artwork will be transported in special and tested packaging. Your artwork is covered in case of damage or problems during transportation. We accompany you until you have your artwork on the wall of your home or workplace. Your unforgettable experience is important to us. Please be aware that we cannot assume responsibility for shipping charges, additional fees, or replacing items that are mis delivered because of an incorrect or undeliverable address entered at the time of placing the order.
· Cancelation the order We would like to point out due to the all Umique designs/products being bespoke/custom-design , the right of revocation is excluded (non-returnable and non-exchangeable). As the created works are individually produced according to your specifications and tailored to your personal needs/orders. For individual products, the right of revocation of the order according to § 312(g)(2)(1) of the German Civil Code (BGB) (right of revocation and return for distance sale contracts) is excluded.
· Cases of damage We take extremely care in packaging Umique and we use the most reliable German post companies (DHL and Hermes) tosend it. Although your Umique package is insured, however, please inspect your order upon reception and immediately contact us if the item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong item, so that we may promptly evaluate and resolve the issue. Please provide written as well as photo documentation of damages immediately after receiving the item. After 14 days from the date of receiving the package, we assume that you have received the package right and safely, and we regret that we will no longer be able to replace or change the item.
If you are traveling or for any reason you cannot confirm your Umique within 14 days, please let us know.
· Incorrect Order You have reviewed and confirmed your order before printing. However, if you receive a damaged print or incorrect print order from Umique, you are eligible for a change or replacement. To process the replacement, we require all damaged and incorrect prints to be returned to our or a partner studio. Please provide written as well as photo documentation of damages immediately after receiving the item. After 7 days from the date of receiving the package, we assume that you have received the package right and safely, and we regret that we will no longer be able to replace or change the item.
To initiate a return, please contact us below form or hello@umique.de. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and provide instructions on how and where to send the package. Please note that we cannot accept items sent back to us without first requesting a return. For questions regarding returns, please feel free to contact us below.
· Maintenance We are designers and although we provide/deliver ready-made/end-products, we outsource the printing process. Our partner is one of the leading/most reputable printing labs in the world and uses the best printing materials (papers, dyes, chemicals and other materials). However, the following suggestions can increase the longevity of your umique piece.
Although our printing lab/studio partner guarantees the quality of prints (3-5 years), we would also like to point out the following in advance: The print material used in source materials and manufacturing processes may, like other dyes, change slightly over time due to high temperatures, high humidity – or high fluctuations thereof – as well as solar radiation. In order for you to enjoy Umique products for a long time, we recommend they not be exposed to direct sunlight in whole or in part, nor hung directly over heaters, nor exposed to humidity levels exceeding those of normal residential spaces. Therefore, Umique products (photographs, acrylic glass, canvases, frames and others) are not suitable for outdoor spaces, basements, bathrooms and kitchens. Laminations with UV protective film or acrylic glass and wooden frames are very sensitive to scratches and stains and should therefore only be handled with gloves or comparable protection.
· Liability Release We reserve the right to change the website design, content and price list for future orders at any time without separate notification.
· Client satisfaction Upon receiving your order, please inspect it immediately. If the item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, please contact us right away. We value your satisfaction and will promptly evaluate the issue to ensure it is resolved appropriately.
· Disclaimer Information on online dispute resolution pursuant to Art 14(1) ODR Regulation and §§ 36(f) VSBG (German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act).
